Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3V712EL, TS3DV642

Hello Team,

I'm looking forward to the HDMI/LAN/VGA/DDR/Video Switch which has strong CDM (higher than 1kV).

However some devices don’t have CDM rating in its datasheet. (e.g. TS3V712EL etc..)

Could you tell me the proper devices?

Also what’s the CDM rating if device datasheet don’t have CDM rating?

Have you looked at the TS3DV642 device? The TS3DV642 CDM is 1kV. What is the target for the CDM spec?

I am also looking too see if TI has a default CDM rating if it is not on the datasheet.

Hidetoshi,

There is a TI minimum standard for defining new parts of CDM 500V and HBM 1KV. For existing parts, I will need to check the Qualification to know what the device can support on ESD.

Unfortunately we do not have a good way to sort through the older devices by ESD rating. If there is a part or two that will be a winner and all you need is to check ESD I can submit those parts to the qualification team to find out what ESD the device can support.
