TS3A24157 back-powered by SMBUS

Hi James,
It looks like you need a switch that has powered off isolation so that when the switch supply is powered of off it's signal paths are in Hi-Z state.
I will have to have to look through our datasheets to see which devices have this function. In the meantime there is a thread that may be dealing with your same issue with a TS5USBA224. e2e.ti.com/.../1508112

Thanks for your response. I should have mentioned that any device that can be considered as a replacement needs to be a drop-in replacement for the TS3A24157.

Unfortunately, we do not have a new version of a dropin replacement of this device with the powered off isolation feature.

Thanks for confirming. One follow-up question: when V+=0V and there is a voltage on the analog I/O's (NCx and NOx), how much current can these I/O's tolerate without any compromise to functionality and/or reliability? Is it +/- 50mA?

Yes that is correct, you cannot exceed the +/- 50mA analog port diode current stated in the absolute maximum ratings table as it may cause permanent damage to the device.
