What is TI’s lowest capacitance switch?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3DV642

We are looking at a USB 2.0 + few more signals mux/switch with very low capacitance. We came across couple of potential parts below. Can you confirm that is the lowest capacitance switches we have to offer?

  • Ranita,

The input capacitance of the switch largely effects the bandwidth performance of the part so you can also search for high bandwidth switches as they will tend to have lower input capacitance.   Based on my search it looks like the TS3DV642 is going to have the lowest input capacitance 0.3pF.

I have sorted the video switch parametric table least to greatest input/output on state capacitance.  You can follow this link here for the results.  We have recently updated our usb parametric table to allow you to select many different parameters to sort but clicking the Add/Hide Parameters in the upper right hand corner

We are continuing to take your feedback to our analog switches parametric search to include more customizable parameters and more comprehensive data.  Eventually we are going to get to a point where you can compare all USB switches, video switches, and analog switches with customizable parameters.  Thank you for your patients.

    Thank you,
