how to select suitable power supply for TS12A12511 base on input signal level? example, like input is -5V and 0V, so -5V and 0 V power supply is ok or need -5 and +5V?
Longchang,
The TS12A12511 device has dual power supplies and the IC operates on the potential difference between Vcc+ and Vcc- (Note Vcc- and GND pins are internally connected.) The datasheet states that you need to select the supply voltage range wide enough so that your signal voltage passing through the switch (Vi/o) is within the recommended operating conditions.
For example:
If you're Vi/o voltage is from -5V to 0 V you will need to have your supply voltage range with -Vcc <= -5 V and Vcc >= 0V.
Please be careful in your system to be consistent with your reference voltages as the GND pin of the TS12A12511 is internally connected to -VCC pin.
Thank you,
Adam
