Does the TS3A27518EZQSR device support I2C signals?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3A27518E, TS3A27518

Does it supports for I2C signals ?

If not can you please recommend a part for supporting I2C interface?

  • Jones,

To evaluate if a signal switch like the TS3A27518E can support a particular signal standard (like I2C) you need to look at the number of channels needed, data rate/ bandwidth, and voltage range of the signal.  Below is some information on the different types of I2C signals.

The TS3A27518 is a 6 channel device so you could switch 3 diffrent I2C busses with this one IC.

The TS3A27518E can also support all I2C speeds with its 240 MHz bandwidth

And finally the TS3A27518E can support 3.3V I2C signals but not 5.5 V I2C signals.  You will need to check what voltage your system is pulling up the I2C bus.

Yes, the TS3A27518E can support I2C signals.

I also typed in the phrase "I2C" in to the e2e signal switch search bar at the top of the screen and found several other posts you may find useful.

    Thank you,

    Adam
