Impedance of switch when power off or Vcc= 0V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3USB31

I need a switch for USB D+ D- as below: when lose power it should be high impedance (>1MΩ).

In 1:1 SPST for USB, I found TS3USB31(E), but it is disconnect only when control pin in logic "High", could you please help to promote a right device?

Thanks!

  • The TS3USB31 (E) device is the correct part for your application.  I know it isn't obvious at first look but this device has the feature you describe.  In the datasheets we label the high impedance feature when Vcc= 0V as Ioff protection or Ioff partial power down mode.

    If you look at the Ioff parameter in the electrical specificaitons table you can see that the when lose power (Vcc=0V) it should be high impedance (>1MΩ).

    R= V/I

    2.15 MΩ = (4.3 V)/( 2uA)

    Thank you,

    Adam
