What would happen if I connect the two TS5A22362 digital control pins together? What if I leave them unconnected?

Hi Team,

What would happen if the IN1 and IN2 pins are connected to each other and nothing else for the TS5A22362? Would NC always be connected to COM?

    David,

    There is no issue connecting the digital control pins IN1 and IN2 together.  Many people do this so they only need to use one GPIO control signal to toggle both switches together.

    However, in your case we do not recommend leaving the digital control pins floating since this will leave the device in an undefined state.  You may observe that the switch is favoring the NC path to COM but we cannot guarantee this will be the case 100% of the time.
