SN74CBTLV3245A: How do I connect the thermal pad?

Hi Team,

As I understand SN74CBTLV3245A is a bidirectional switch? And when 0E is 1 both sides are in 3 state? Correct?

It is not clear in datasheet if exposed thermal pad in SN74CBTLV3245ARGYR should be connected to ground or not?

    Hi Shlomi,

    The device is a bidirectional switch. It is tranmission gate with an NFET and PFET in parellel.

    When the OE is tied high, both sides are in a hig-z state according to the datasheet.

    The thermal pad can be tied to ground.
