Part Suggestion for a 16:1 Analog Multiplexer for 60mA of switching Current

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5N118, SN74CB3Q3251, SN74CBT3251

hi,

advance thanks for reply, i need the analog multiplxer for 16:1, it can support switching current for above 60mA, so please suggest the part number for my requirement.

regards,

sankar

  • Hello Sankar,

Unfortunately we only have single channel 8:1 switches which can support 60mA or more of continuous switching current. You did not indicate a voltage range you would be operating in so I have taken the liberty of attached snippets from 3 datasheets with 8:1 multiplexers supporting 60mA and up.

The first part is the TS5N118 which has a recommended Vcc of 4.75V to 5.25V, with absolute maximum rating for switch current of 100mA:

The next part is the SN74CB3Q3251, with a recommended Vcc of 2.3V to 3.6V, ON-state switch current of 64mA (MAX):

and third, the SN74CBT3251, with a Vcc of 4V to 5.5V, with MAX continuous channel current of 128mA:

    Thank you,

    Louie
