CD4052B: I want to control my multiple LEDs (twelve) with only single LED driver IC

Part Number: CD4052B

I want to control my multiple LEDs (twelve) with only single LED driver IC using demux(?) type of module. Here is the concept shown below. I made two figures to help your understanding.

So, I have twelve LEDs to control, but only one LED can be turned on at a time. If they were turned on/off simultaneously, I would had used just multi-channel LED controller. However, I am just controlling one LED at a time, I feel like using a single LED controller with demux switching like system would be more efficient and simple to design.

The problem is demux IC allows very low current to flow (20 mA). The current should be 500 mA at least. I am thinking about using ULN2803A (Darlington array) but still don't have a clear idea. Can anybody help me please? Thank you.
