TS12A12511: Temperature Drift Question

Part Number: TS12A12511

My customer is asking for temperature drift data on the TS12A12511:

"I need to know how the resistance changes with temperature to see if it is stable enough for an analog signal in our scale."

He is looking for the Switch's dR/dC,  R being the resistance. The datasheet has the min/max limits over temperature. He just looking for the impedance temperature gradient.

Thanks!

  • Mark,

    I have some data taken at 3 temperatures -40, 25, and 85 deg C that could give you a rough estimate of dRon/dtemp.

    On state resistance
    Vcc = 5.5V
    -40 deg C = 7.54 ohms
    25 deg C = 9.95 ohms
    85 deg C = 11.39 ohms

    Vcc = 12 V
    -40 deg C = 4.22ohms
    25 deg C = 5.25 ohms
    85 deg C = 6.20 ohms

    What is the scale you would like to operate at? Does this give you an idea of what you are looking for?

    Thank you,
    Adam
