Dual I2C Mux Switch

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9543A, TMUX1072

Hi,

I am currently considering using the TCA9543A, but this chip requires I2C commands to select between Channel 0 and Channel 1. I and looking for an equivalent mux/switch that can select between channels using micro I/O pins.

I have looked though the switches & mux parametric search and I cannot find a similar chip.  Could anybody recommend a mux to meet my requirements?

Thanks,

The passive FET switches on Ti.com are all GPIO controlled devices.  However, the passive FET switches do not have any drive capability like the TCA95XX devices.   I took a look at the parametric search for the similar configuration of the TCA9543A 2-channel, 2:1 devices and found many options as they will all support low bandwidth I2C signals.

Many customers are liking the new TMUX1072 device for I2C because it is one of the few devices that will support signals greater than Vcc.  This allows the device to support 5V I2C signals with Vcc on the switch only 3.3 V.

    Thank you,

    Adam
