If VDD = 5V the slowest the change from CH0 to CH1 will be 720ns. Typically the device will switch much faster. The timing diagram wave forms define how these timings are measured.
The wave forms are measuring how long it takes the signal path to go from low impedance to high impedance or high impedance to low impedance. The top wave is the digital control logic. When this control logic transition is from High to low or low to high, the bottom signal path waveform will either change from low impedance to high impedance.
If you place a voltage on COM pin and measure Channel 0-7 you can see how fast the signal patch can go from low to high impedance.
