My customer using TS3L500AE have a question that could they read MUX switching status from LED I/O port?

Yes, this is possible, depending on what circuit is connected to the LED I/Os.

Are all three LED signals used for actual LEDs?

No. The LED come from LAN chip-set is not only high or low level , so no connected out.

Connect 0LED₁ to ground and 0LED₂ to V_CC, then you can read the current status from LED₀.

But why can't you simply read the signal at the SEL pin?

That 's a good question! We use SEL pin for input pin to control switch path,but we want another pin for out put pin to read the switch status.
