TS5A3160: TS5A3160 resistance

The TS5A3160 device is specified to have about 1 ohm on state resistance with a Vcc =5 V .  The resistance is measured by sinking a known current (-100mA) through the switch, supplying a voltage on the input (2.5 V), and measuring the voltage drop on the output.  Then the Ron is calculated by (2.5 V-Vout)/-100mA   

That is odd that you are measuring different Ron for the same device from a different vendor. 

Would you please provide pictures of the top side markings of the device so we can read the top side marking ? 

Would you please provide any purchase order information, pictures of labels, or any other documentation so that we can track the lot codes? 

How many units from each vendor have you tested?  What percentage of units are out of spec?

Here you can see the top pictures of TS5A3160DBV we bought from Digikey and China. Both have "JAKR" marking on their top.

The seller confirmed that they have ordered "595-TS5A3160DBVR" from Mouser, not Digikey.

I couldn't find any info about the parts from China. China is in holiday in these days.

Did you confirm the Ron is out of spec by the test method described in the datasheet? How many of these devices are out of spec out of how many that you ordered?

Do you have any scope shots of the device behaving well in your system compared to device behaving poorly in your system?

Yes, Ron seems different. The number of devices we orders from Mouser was not high, 15-20 pieces..And all of them had same problem.

Today, we are ordering again 50 pieces from Mouser in order to try again.

If you would like to us to do investigation please keep all the order information from Mouser including purchase order numbers, lot numbers, etc.  Without this tractability documentation we can't accept the devices for failure analysis.

Yes, the new samples arrived. There is a behaviour difference between the China samples and Mouser samples. But unfortunatelly, we don't have any invoice data since we order the parts from a local electronic part seller.

I can send the items to you or any other address if you tell me. You can try and test the items your your side. Is it possible?

I'm glad you have devices that are now performing as expected. Unfortunately, we cannot except units that don't have traceability documentation so that we can track it through our approved supply chain.

I think you misunderstood. The new devices are NOT performing as expected. China samples and Mouser samples are different.
If not possible for you to accepts the devices, can you send a few samples that you are sure 100% they are working?

How are you measuring the resistance of the most recent devices you received?  Do you have a diagram of your test procedure or scope shots of your results?
