Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5MP646
Hi,
My customer wants to use TS5MP646 as a LVCMOS signal switch.
Can TS5MP646 support the conditions below?
- 1.8V signal at 200 MHz
- 3V signal at 100MHz
Power supply may be 1.8V or 3V.
Thank you.

Whitney,
TI's passive FET switches like the TS5MP646 can pass any signal protocol as long as the voltage and bandwidth requirements are met.
The TS5MP646 will support both 1.8V and 3.0 V signals as stated in the recommended operating conditions in the datasheet 0 to 3.6 V.
The TS5MP646 will also support both 1.8V and 3.0V power supply as the recommended range is 1.65 V to 5.5 V seen above.
The TS5MP646 device includes a charge pump on the gate of the signal path FET which means the voltages supported on the I/O do not have to depend on the Vcc voltage. For example, with Vcc = 1.65 V the TS5MP646 can pass signals up to 5.5 V on the I/O path.
The TS5MP646 has 3 GHz bandwidth which is enough to cover your 100 and 200 MHz signals.
Thank you,
Adam
