Hello,

My customer has a question about CD74HC4066.

[Q]

Could you tell me the power supply current under the following conditions?
- Vcc=8.5V
- VI=0 or 5V

They found one board with a large load current during shipping tests.
As a result of their investigation, it was judged that the power supply current of CD74HC4066 was large.
Usually 1mA, but the corresponding board was 6mA.
So they want to get the above information.

Hi Kudo-san ,
To better understand your issue could you please help with the following questions:

1. Had an A-B-A swap test been done?
2. What is the measurement setup to measure the 6mA power supply current? Is there a schematic available?
3. How many CD74HC4066 was observed with 6mA power supply current?
