The settling time is affected by a couple parameters including on capacitance, Ron, and your set up conditions.

From the settling time equation below, you can see that Con, Ron,and Rs are all factors that would affect the settling time.
Depending on what your Vdd/Vss supplies and your Vs are, the Ron is varies.
There are a couple characterization graph for Ron in the datasheet of MUX506, below is an example:

Hi,
My VDD/VSS supplies are +15/-15V. I am giving this input to MUX after a voltage follower. So my source impedance is less only since opmap output impedance is less(few ohms). Even with this Ron from the graph which is only few ohms and Con is 13.5pF , I should get a settling time of few microseconds only. But I am getting in the range of 100 us only. Why? Kindly reply quantitatively. Also what is the value of 'K' in the equation?
