TUSB1002A / TUSB522P USB3.0 GEN1 re-driver recommended

Hi,

In our design, USB3 Gen1 total length is about 17.5 inch included one FPC cable(7736mil) & 2 FPC connector.

Would you suggest us use TUSB1002A or TUSB522P to meet the long trace in this application？

suggest TUSB1002A since it's linear redriver

I saw the length restriction of TUSB522P： PCH to re-driver < 20 inch & re-driver to connector < 6 inch,

20 inch & 6 inch are the max length restriction between PCH to connector, am I right ？
