TS3L4892: Question about the difference between LED switch and LAN switch and can single ended signals be used?

Part Number: TS3L4892

Hi team,

My customer would like to use TS3L4892 device as 11 single-ended channel switch. Could you please help to share the difference between LAN switch and LED switch, such as bit-to-bit skew, crosstalk, on-state resistance, and so on? Thanks a lot!

Best Regards

Zhengquan Lu

  • Zhengquan,

The TS3L4892 device is a passive FET switch and can accept both single ended and differential signals.  All of the FET switches inside the device are the same so it doesn't matter as long as the voltages are within the recommended operating conditions.

Since all the FET switches signal paths are the same you will have the same performance for both the LEDx and Ax/Bx signal.

    thank you,

    Adam
