CD4052B: Max Current

Mux team,

A customer is looking to use the CD4052B as a mux in an application that could require up to 250 mA running through the device on the signal path. As long as they take into account the voltage drop, is it possible to use this device with this amount of current?

I don't see a max current in the datasheet.

Hi Darren,

Thanks for using E2E.

According to the datasheet, the Absolute Maximum DC Input Current at any one input is 10 mA. Stresses beyond the absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to the device.
