CD4052B: CD4052B Support

Part Number: CD4052B
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1209, TMUX1109

Am Currently working on CD4052B for audio application,is this chip will work on 3.3V supply or need more supply??

  • This chip can work at 3.3 V, but the CD4000 series is optimized for higher voltages, so the switches have a rather high resistance that is not very flat.

Consider using a more modern device, e.g., TMUX1209. What is the range of your signal voltages?

  • Hello,

Thanks for your question. As Clemens mentioned, 3.3V supply is within the maximum ratings of the device, but a low voltage device with the same configuration, such as TMUX1109 or TMUX1209, may be better suited for your application.

What is the voltage range of your signal?

    Regards,
    Kate
