SN3257-Q1: Switch LVDS signals?

Hi,

I'd like to ask you a question about SN3257-Q1.

If I want to use this component to switch LVDS signals without coding an LVDS switch, could it work?

I don't know the technological details about this IC, for me it's almost a <<wire>> so it could also work because my signals are (both positive and negative) in fact voltage values> 0V ...

What do you think?

You can switch any signal with an analog switch if the voltage is inside the allowed range, and if the frequency does not exceed the bandwidth, and if the on-resistance is small enough so that it does not unduly affect the signal.

Hi Antonio,

Clemens is absolutely right, our switches and muxes can work with any signals that are within the recommended specs in the datasheets.
