What is the ESD CDM for SN74CBTLV3257RSVR? Is it the same with the ESD for Machine Model which is 200V?

Hi Carlo,

No ESD-CDM and ESD-MM are not the same. The ESD-CDM at 350V and ESD-HBM up to 2500V.

Hi Saminah,

Do we have any documentation we can provide to our customer for the ESD CDM rating?

Also, I would like to clarify if the ESD-HBM is 2500V since in the datasheet it states that the HBM rating is 2000V?

Hi Carlo,

Please follow the datasheet values of 2000V ESD-CDM. The ESD-HBM of 2500V is set as a margin - to report the highest value the device could pass (which in this case, it passes)

For ESD-CDM, you can safely say the device passes up to 350V and was not tested above the value.

I made a note to include the ESD-CDM in the datasheet as well.
