TS12A4517: Input logic low question

There is a little confusion on the input logic high / logic low when using a + 3.3V supply and ground for V- . How can the input logic low be allowed to go V+ - 3.5? Or does note 1 below the table which talks about the algebraic convention, whereby the most negative value is a minimum and the most positive value is a maximum?

Page 7 says:

Since these parts have no ground pin, the logic-level threshold is referenced to V₊. The threshold limits are V₊ –1.5 V and V₊ –3.5 V for V₊ levels between 6 V and 3 V. When V₊ = 2 V, the logic threshold is approximately 0.6 V.

Clemens is right These parts support dual supply so the logic level is also based off that. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
