Hi team,

Could you please review this block diagram is OK?

My customer is trying to connect two TS3L500 in series.

Do you expect the signal quality is OK? Has TI ever supported the customer building system like this?

Or, if some transmission analysis/simulation is needed, is Ron=4Ohm Typ, CON = 8pf Typ. model is fine for the analysis?

Thank you for sending the block diagram. After seeing the diagram, I would like to recommend TS5MP646 for this application. This switch has high bandwidth, additional features such as powered-off protection, and includes specifications for insertion loss.

Hi Itoh,

TS5MP646 supports up to 3 GHz bandwidth, which is compatible with the 1000Base-T data rate. Additionally, TS5MP646 supports I/O voltage range of 0V to 3.6V.

Ethernet PHY compliance is a system level test.
