TS3A27518E: Request for reference schematic

Part Number: TS3A27518E

Hi Team,

My customer is evaluating the device TS3A27518E. I have applied a few samples as well as the 24 pin leaded board to further build up the test circuit.

Could you help to provide a reference schematic for me please? Customer will need it for the design.

Thank you.

Max

  • Hi Max,

We do not have a reference schematic for this part on ti.com - You can look at application schematics in the datasheets for design reference.

The TS3A27518E device is a passive FET switch and doesn't need any external components for operation. However, TI recommends connecting unused pins to the ground through a 50-Ω resistor to prevent signal reflections back into the device. TI also recommends that the digital control pins (INX) be pulled up to VCC or down to GND to avoid undesired switch positions that could result from the floating pin

The requirements for the TS3A27518E are making sure the voltage and bandwidth of the signals for your application are within the recommend operating conditions of the switch.

I found these posts with TS3A27518E  design questions a customer had that you can think about ahead of time.

    Thanks

  • Thanks Saminah.

I've check the E2E links and get better understanding.

While although the device is kind of easy to use, I would say a reference schematic is required, such as the caps selection. Customer feels worried during design and it's not good for the design in.

So if reference design is not able to access for now, is that possible to request for a design check list?

    Thanks

    Max

  • Hi Max,

There are basic design guidelines on design with this switch on Power Supply Recommendations and Detailed Design Procedure of the datasheet.

If you want details on anything specific, please let us know. Can you also share the block diagram of your applcaition?

    Thanks

    Saminah
