USB redrivers & multiplexers SN28955DR

I'm not finding any reference at all to the SN28955.  Please send a picture of the IC.  And just curious as to the interest in this, please.

A bunch of reels of these were sold on ebay recently to various people. We're all trying to figure out what they are. Sure would be helpful if you could offer something as I'm sure original company doesn't care about these any more. They are probably out of business considering the source of the parts.

 Thank you for your input on this.  I am still investigating what can be disclosed, if anything, for this device.  I will let you know as soon as I find out, but as it stands, the device is custom/proprietary and therefore I cannot disclose that information.
