TMUX1574: when two SPI master with different VIO (3.3V, 1.8V) accessing SPI flash with 1.8VIO

Part Number: TMUX1574

Hi everyone,

Also, I want to make sure if the below diagram is working or not.

The question what I have is what is the voltage level of SPI_D_1.8VIO when signal A is selected?

When signal A or B is selected, their voltage level transfer to the device side or not?

Thanks,

/Dong

  • Hi Dong,

The TMUX1574PWR will pass signals up to 2 * VDD with a maximum output voltage of 5.5V.

So in response to your first question if signal A is selected than the SPI_D_1.8VIO will be: 3.3V - Iload * Rds(on).

For your second question, this part will pass Signal A or Signal B, depending on what signal has been selected by the enable pin, as is. As long as the signal A or signal B is less than Vdd * 2, which in this case would be 3.6V, the signals will pass with a small voltage drop across the switches resistance.

If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Best,

    Parker Dodson
