TMUX1574: Floating signal paths.

Hello.

Here is a simplified schematic of what I'm talking about.

I'm using a TMUX1574 switch chip. And my question is, is it OK to leave S2A pin floating in this scenario? Using it as an OFF switch. Or should it be tied to GND via a resistor for example?

    Hi Juha,

    The recommended guideline for unused Source or Drain Pins for the TMUX1574 is to connect them to ground. In your application I would connect the output to a resistor to ground in order to prevent shorting the input to ground.
