TS3L110: Compliance test failed

Part Number: TS3L110

Hi team,

Customer has a problem that the compliance test cannot pass due to not enough voltage amplitude.

They find the voltage amplitude is around ± 900mV against the regulation between ±950mV and 1050mV.

Customer also understand TS3L110 is just switch device but we would much appreciate if you will advise any check points.

Thank you and best regards,

Michiaki

  • Hi Michiaki,

I have a few questions about the tests:

    1.  Are all the channel experiencing the same issue?

    2.  What is the voltage at the input of the switches?

    3. What does the load look like and how much current is going through the switch?

There could be a chance that there is loss across the switch, but I want to see what the tests conditions are to help clarify how the switch is operating.

    Best Regards,

  • The switch has a typical resistance of 4 Ω. A voltage drop of 50 mV would correspond to a continuous current of 12.5 mA. I doubt that it is the switch alone that causes the problem.

What is the voltage before and after the switch?

  • Hi Michiaki,

Thanks for following up with me offline with the information. I will close this thread, and continue supporting you offline.
