Hi Team

I understand that MPC507A is “standard ESD tests” but can’t find ESD Ratings in the datasheet.

Could you please let us know ESD Ratings?

And, I confirmed MUX507 datasheet and ESD Ratings is the following.

Which is larger, the MPC507A or the MUX507?

The OPA177 datasheet says:

Burr-Brown’s standard ESD test method consists of five 1000V positive and negative discharges (100pF in series with 1.5kΩ) applied to each pin.

This corresponds to the HBM test conditions.

Hey Hide,

Unfortunately no data could be found on any specific ESD ratings since this is part was released in Sept. of 1992. Our usually stance on this scenario is that if we can't guarantee an actual ESD threshold we can't guarantee one for that device. So moving forward I wouldn't consider this for an ESD protected usage case.

However, have you looked into the MUX36D08? It's a very similar, and newer, device (pinout only changes on pin13 where Vref becomes NC). ESD rating is specified here as 2kV HBM and 0.5kV CDM
