My customer is using the SN74LV4051ATDWRQ1 now. We want to check whether the output signal has protection diodes internal the chip. If yes. Do we have P2P solution without the internal diodes? Thanks.

The SN74LV4051A will have internal diode protection to VCC on the I/O pins. Is the concern just diode protection on the switch to VCC? If so the TMUX1308-Q1 does not have these diodes to VCC. It does have internal diode protection but it runs to GND instead of VCC so there is no worries about injection current.

This is a p2p solution in a smaller package. The TMUX1308-Q1 comes in WQFN, SOT-23-THN, and TSSOP all of which are smaller than the SOIC package of the SN74LV4051ATDWRQ1.
