TS3L110: Recommend 1G-Ethernet switch

Hi,

My customer wants to use 2 TS3L110 as 1GHz Ethernet switch.  Can he use TS3L110s and work well? 

Also, if you have any other alternative solution, please advise us.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your question. TS3L110 has 500 MHz bandwidth and therefore does not support 1GHz Ethernet. 

    For a high-speed 4-channel 2:1 switch, I recommend using TMUX1574. TMUX1574 is an excellent device for this application because it supports up to 2 GHz signals and includes features such as powered-off protection and 1.8V logic compatibility.
