6:1 Differential Switch

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV4051A, TMUX1308, MUX507

Hi team,

Does TI have a 6:1 differential switch? Our customer needs to use this switch in two occasions, one is 0-20mA acquisition circuit, the other is 0-5V acquisition circuit. The inputs of both circuits are differential inputs. There is no frequency bandwidth requirement. If I don't make it clear, please feel free to ask

  • Two-channel 8:1 switches like the MUX507 require at least 12 V, and have a high Ron. I would recommed two single-channel 8:1 switches like the TMUX1308 or SN74LV4051A.

  • Hi Amy,

As Clemens mentioned, you can use two 1-channel 8:1 muxes for this differential application. I recommend using TMUX1308 which is available in a tiny leaded package (DYY) that will decrease the footprint size of this two-chip solution.

Let me know if this meets your needs or if you have any additional questions.

    Best regards,
    Kate
