TS5MP645: Switching 600Mbps CSI2 lane

Hi,

We are designing a new evaluation module and need to switch the CSI2 (4 Lane Data + 1 Clock lane) output of the IC to between 2 different devices. The CSI  interface has a maximum bit rate of 600 Mbps. I don't know a lot about the TS5MP645 but on quick glance it appears to be be an option for this.

Is the TS5MP645 usable for this application? is there any limitation to using it?

    Hi Charles,

    TS5MP645 is a a great option for this application, due to its high bandwidth, bidirectional signal path, and low Ron and Con specs. Take a look at the application information section in the datasheet for design requirements and considerations.

    For even wider bandwidth support, TS5MP646 is also an option for this application.
