Hi team,

My customer is looking for a Bus switch. 

  • Requirement

-Switch type : SPDT

-Number of channels : 4bit or 2bit*2

-Power supply : 3.3V for both input and output (not required tolerant)

-Signal frequency : 20MHz

-Low cost

-Small package

The customer found SN74CBTLV3257PW(4ch) and TS3A24157(2ch) series. If you have other recommended devices which are lower cost and smaller package, could you let me know?

    The TMUX1574 has the same price and size as the SN74CBTLV3257, but has better characteristics.

    The TS3A5223 is cheaper and smaller than the TS3A24157. (But a single 4-channel device is even cheaper and smaller.)

    Hi Yamaguchi-san,

    The TMUX1574 is the newest 4ch 2:1 (SPDT) switch that has wider operating voltage (1.5V to 5.5V), wider operating temperature (-40C to 125C) and additional features like 1.8V logic compatibility, Fail-safe logic etc.

    The device is available in three package options: small leaded SOT-23 package (TMUX1574DYYR), UQFN package (TMUX1574RSVR) and leaded TSSOP (TMUX1574PWR) and is P2P compatible to the old SN74CBTLV3257.

    Additionally, there is a new automotive qualified variant available based on application need (SN3257-Q1).
