Watch points do not work on CCS 5.1 M4

Hi,

Here is my setup:

OS: Ubuntu 10.04

CCS: 5.1 M4 5.1.0.04001

Emulator: Spectrum Digital XDS 560v2 STM USB

I've been trying to set watchpoints, but the debugger never stops on them. I tried the same tagret board and the same emulator with CCS 4.1.3 on Windows machine and it works fine.

I'm using OMAP 3630 based custom board and Zoom3 board. Both have the same behaviour.

I could make watchpoints work in my setup here - the only differences are Ubuntu 10.04 64-bits and a Beagleboard xM (OMAP3630/DM3730-based).

However I am using the GEL files provided in the page below:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OMAP_and_Sitara_CCS_support

Could you check if the absence or presence of the GEL file <am-dm37x_cortexA.gel> in the cortexA8 core makes a difference?
