ccstudio 3.3 & graphic configuration tool(GCONF)

Hi,

we have some troubles with this plugin, because it's disappeared from ccstudio (if we select in our project the tcf file, we can only see in text mode, it's no more present the graphic/textual option). Now we modify graphically our tcf file using directly gconf externally from ccstudio!

How can we solve this problem? There's probably a configuration or option to set?

Hi David,

If you right-click on the tcf file and select 'DSP/BIOS Config' in the context menu, the option for 'Graphical Edit' is missing?

Hi Ki,

that is the matter! we have no longer the 'DSP\BIOS Config' option in the context menu, and we can not select Graphical edit or Text edit! I don't know what is happen, so we have to run direcly the gconf.exe to modify graphically the tcf file.

hmmm... have you updated CCS or started using an updated version of DSP/BIOS when this issue started to occur?

No we have installed the actual version of code composer and dsp/bios 10 months ago. we have also tried to reinstall BIOS 5.33.06 but without success! the option in the contest menu are still absent!

Can you open Component Manager ('Help->About...->Component Manager') and make sure that both 'TConfAXD Control' and 'TConfCmdObject Control' are both enabled?

That was the problem! We enabled those option and finally the option compared in the menus! I don't know why they were not checked? Very strange.

Yes, CCS 3.x was strange like that... sometimes plug-ins would get disabled on its own somehow. Anyway glad to hear that it is working now.
