Using the Memory Browser I read the flash from 0x80000 (Sector 0)

Then I click Export and select INTELHEX format:

After Generate, the console confirms a file with 8192 bytes is exported:

However the actual hex file is 0 bytes long.

Note the equivalent binary file contains some data. Looks like there's a bug in the Intel hex exporter. Is there a fix in the pipeline please?

Good question. I'm using the TMS320F28379D on its LaunchPad via XDS100v2 FTDI USB.

Thanks. I can reproduce the issue with UniFlash 6.2.0. However, it seems to work fine with UniFlash 6.3.0. Can you give that version a try?

Note that in UniFlash 6.3.0, when specifying the memory range, you provide the start address and end address. This is different than in 6.2.0 where you provided start address and the length.

Many thanks Ki. 6.3.0 seems to work.

Please note that one of the first things I tried in order to resolve the problem was to go Settings -> Updates -> Check For Updates. On version 6.2.0 it reports "No Updates Available" which I see now is incorrect. This check appears broken on 6.2.0 and I have no way to check if is fixed on 6.3.0 until 6.4.0 emerges.

Should I raise a separate post for this problem?
