Hi Daniel,

Can you: 

1. Delete any *.log files in %TEMP%
2. Open a cmd prompt as admin
3. Run the installer from that cmd prompt with the following command:
   1. <installername>.exe --debug=true
4. Zip up the contents of the installer_logs folder and any *.log and *_debug.txt file in the %TEMP% folder and attach to this thread.

The files (*_debug.txt) we are looking for are not in the zip. That is because the instructions for step #3 that I gave you were incorrect (sorry!). 

It should be:

1. Run the installer from that cmd prompt with the following command:
   1. <installername>.exe --debug true

Note that there is no "=" character between "--debug" and "true"

Can you retry with the correct procedure? Sorry for all the hassle

HI Daniel,

It appears that there are issues with file permissions during the installation. One theory is that there is some antivirus software interfering with it.

Would it be possible to temporarily disable any such software on your machine to confirm this?

I disabled antivirus software (Norton) and I still encounter the same issue. I was able to download CCS V8, but I am unable to download CCS V10.

What was the download issue? 404? I just downloaded and installed CCS 10.4.0 a few minutes ago...

Different version, same emu pack error. Thanks for trying again. What permissions do you have on that PC?

While we investigate, I'd like to suggest a workaround. Can you start a private E2E conversation with me and mention all the devices you plan on using CCS with?
