Could CCS 8.3 support CANTATA?

You would need to contact QA-Systems to figure out if they support CCSv8.3.  At TI we do not do any integration with this product.  In watching their video, most of the integration is at the Eclipse level so that would likely be ok.  You would also need to check to see if they support the compiler that you will be using.  This type of tool typically needs to be validated with a specific compiler.

TDA2 is a device family with different types of CPU cores on it.  Compilers are for cpu instruction architectures.  Which CPU core are you building for?  For TDA2 the main CPU I believe is a Cortex A15.  Typically people would not use the TI compiler for that core and instead would be using GCC which comes with the processor SDK for TDA2.

If your TDA2 device has a C66x DSP on it and you are looking to build for that core then CCS includes a compiler for that.  The compilers in CCS are located in:

<CCS install dir>/ccsv8/tools/compiler/<specific compiler>/bin

The compiler executable would be cl6x

Which specific device are you using?  Do you have the sdk for it?   Which CPU core on the device are you building for?

I build it by the command "gmake -s -j" now . Could I build sdk by ccs not the command "gmake -s -j"?

Typically in CCS you build with CCS projects.  However for the processor SDK the examples are meant to be built via make on the command line.  You could create a makefile project in CCS and point it to the makefile from the SDK and use the command as you stated.

For the Processor SDK it is setup to build via makefiles and not CCS projects.  The links I provided contain information on how you could create a type of CCS/Eclipse project that basically wraps an existing makefile.  That gives you some level of integration with CCS but is optional.  Most users of this SDK would build from outside of CCS and then just use CCS for debug.
