Hi Sayee,
The cut, undo and redo option are activated whenever you start modifying a file. If you start a session on CCSv3.3 and just open a file, these options will be greyed out.

Looks like a definite bug in CCS 3.3 in the editor environment. I was in simulator mode on a Vista machine. For one whole editing session, the cut/undo/redo options remained disabled. After the reboot, they got restored.
Probably, you need to look places where you are re-enabling these options and there must be a way skip and sneak out to editor mode with out performing this act of re-enabling.

A probable cause for the behavior is that you are using Vista. CCS3.3 has limited support for Vista. Below is a link to known issues of CCS3 on Vista:
