CODECOMPOSER: Import Failed for Project because its meta-data cannot be interpreted

Part Number: CODECOMPOSER

While importing a project into CCS, I get the error. 
Import failed for project 'Project_Name' because its meta-data cannot be interpreted. Please contact support."

What could be the issue? I have imported many projects successfully. 
Another person compiled and built this project, could it be they have used another version of CCS?

    It could be some version mismatch with one of the components - usually if the versions are higher than the one you have installed. 

    Can you provide the three *.project file in the project folder?
