Can't read memory using Uniflash

Hello Kien,

Can you enable both GUI and debug server logging and then reproduce the issue? Then zip up the generated logs and attach it to this thread.

The attached ds.log does not seem to capture the connect sequence. Can you make sure the Debug Server Logging is enabled in the Settings before you click on "Read Target Device" in the Memory view?

Also, the GUI logs indicate that you are using a tm4c1230h6pm. Can you confirm if that is the device or ccxml you are using? The original post mentioned TMS320F280025C, which is what I was testing.

I was trying with the TMS320F280025C while my customer was trying with tm4c1230h6pm.

We both encountered the same issue. I was able to fix it by following your suggestion of using Uniflash ver. 6.4. Thanks a lot for that.

However, my customer still.

I will double check with them the log files and share with you later.

Thanks for the update. I don't have a TM4C board to test, but I'll try to ask around to see if others have it.

The tm4c1230h6pm board that the customer is using is not a LaunchPad right? Also, please check which version of UniFlash they are using.

I was not able to reproduce the issue using my TM4C1294NCPDT target with UniFlash 6.4. 

Kien - please confirm the customer is using UniFlash 6.4 and please ask what debug probe the customer is using. Also have them recapture the log with the necessary information as Ricky requested.

Yes, customer uses ver 6.4.

The debug probe is XDS110.

They were able to read the MCU by using a non-TI debugger. I don't know if they need to upgrade the FW or the XDS110. That is a brand new one we shipped to them last few weeks.

They can try a manual update of the XDS110 firmware. Please see:

Note the second "Note" that mentions where the xds110 folder resides in the UniFlash directory
