Industrial Toolbox installation problem

Hey there,

I am currently using ccs version 10.4.0.00006 and would like to add the Industrial Toolbox package to ccs, in order to use the IWR68xx AoP mmWave chip. I have tryed different ways to add the Toolbox, which include:

  1. Installing it with the install button inside the resource explorer
  2. Manualy adding the dowloaded files to the folder

However neither way seems to work. Installing through resource explorer downloads the files and then gets stuck at "-Extracting..." mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_8_0\tools\remote_access\server.py and css doens't seem to recognize the manualy added files.

What are possible causes for the error?

kind regards

Nikita Tatsch

  • Hi Nikita,

Manualy adding the dowloaded files to the folder

Which folder are you referring to? You should be able to just extract the zip to C:\ti or your similar TI products directory.

  • Hi Alec,

Thank you for your very fast answer.

I extracted the file into C:\ti but it didn't work yesterday. Somehow I got it to work on one of the computers this morning by using the ccs installer.

Unfortunatly I will be on vacation next week and will resume my work next Monday. When I come back I will reinstall ccs and repeat to check the consistency of the installation process. I will keep you posted.

    Best regards

    Nikita

  • Hi,

I realized that the problem wasn't the installer but rather our Proxy Server, which was blocking one of the download files. I got it to work now and I am very sorry to have wasted your time.

    Best regards
