Local, Watch Strings in CCS Debugger

I searched for a debugger option that would allow me to see more than just 10 characters of a string (char *) in Variables-View. I found a thread that exactly describes the issue but there is no solution and it's about 10 years old. So I was wondering if there is a way meanwhile or if there is still the same limitation.

Hello Lothar,

I believe there was an enhancement request to remove this limitation. I am looking to see if it does exist and if so, what the current status of it is.
