Unsigned DSP/BIOS and SYS/BIOS updates for CCS4

I was notified of updates to CCS4 this morning and decided to update.  But two of the updates are being flagged as unsigned.  They are

com.ti.bios_5.41_5.41.10.36

com.ti.bios_6.30_6.30.3.46

If these don't have digital signatures, how do I confirm their integrity?

Thanks!   Erik

  • Hi Erik,

Those are valid updates. You can ignore the warnings.

    Thanks

  • Is it possible to obtain MD5 or SHA1 checksums of the files?  Or perhaps can signed copies be posted?  When I try to download them CCS warns that the files cannot be verified, suggesting that I might not want to install them.  Since all other updates were signed, I'm leery of simply ignoring the warning.  Without the signature, there's no way to confirm that the files haven't been tampered with after posting or in transit from the server.

    Thanks!   Erik
