CCS 11: Exclude source files just randomly working.

Hi,

I'm using CCS11.0.0.00012 and I'm trying to exclude source files on specific configuration.

After switching to different build configuration and back the source file is not excluded again.

The same happens when just close CCS and reopen again. This is happen not regularly but often.

Can you fix this issue?

With best regards

  • Hello Jiri,

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. You mentioned that this does not have regularly. How would to quantify the frequency of this issue occuring?

Also, what host OS is CCS running on and how are you switching the build configuration (via context menu, icon, or build properties dialog)?

    Thanks

  • Hi Ki,

sorry for a long response time. I was read again what I was writing before and the problem is related to excluding folders mostly (sometimes the files too). Problem is visible very often (in more than 50% cases). As was described it's visible already when you close/open CCS or just switch between two different build configurations (like from Debug to Release and back).

I'm running on Windows 10 and build configuration is switched via build properties dialog.

    With best regards

    Jiri

  • I believe I may have seen the issue you describe, though it happens with much less frequency for me. I have seen cases where an excluded folder is no longer visibly shown as excluded in the Project Explorer view, but if you check the properties of the folder, it will show that the folder is still excluded. Hence it is just some GUI update issue. Can you check if this the case for you too?

    Thanks
