PS: You can try delete all file in Debug floder and compiler again.

Also, by deleting all the files in debug folder the error has not occurred on those particular project files.

Hi John,

Due to proprietary concerns I would not be able to share the file on the forum. Is there another way to figure this out. 

Update: I am able to upload a test file for blinking an led on the msp430 and it is working fine after deleting the files in debug folder. But I am still having an issue with downloading a different project onto the microcontroller and I have deleted the debug files prior to the compiling. 

Any suggestions would help.
